Service Saturday @ WAWA- Hartnett Community Garden

Volunteers will be helping prepare and beautify the garden space along with the Bush Mountain Community, and Mid-Wife Apothecary. On this day, volunteers will be gardening, removing weeds, invasives, planting, harvesting, and sodding the garden beds and areas at the Hartnett Community Garden. This allows us to feed our senior community members in our food distributions.

WAWA’s Service Saturdays

Open to Kids! This program, facilitated by West Atlanta Watershed Alliance and made possible by a grant from USDA Forest Service for our Atlanta Children’s Forest Network, provides the opportunity for youth 10 years and older to participate in meaningful activities encouraging conservation, stewardship, and experiential learning on the second Saturday of every month.
